Golden hour began with a beautiful couple on Scenic Beach in Washington State. Kathryn and Joey are celebrating their 10 year wedding anniversary this month. The weather was fairly chilly, but thankfully the sun was shining. I was even able to capture some lens flare in a few pictures!
Kathryn arrived in a beautiful ivory lace dress. Neutral colored clothing is perfect for pictures and can flatter any skin tone. The flowy fabric drifted with the wind during their photo shoot. I always recommend flowy dresses, so the pictures have movement to them. Joey came dressed to impressed! His solid button down shirt, nice black pants, belt, and shoes were all well-coordinated! Joey was definitely looking sharp for his pictures. Most importantly though, their connection and love for each other is amazing! Pictures HAVE to have that special spark in order for them to come full circle. My favorite pictures are the ones that show Joey making Kathryn laugh. Here are a few of my favorite portraits from their couple session.
