On the afternoon, of a gorgeous winter day, I had the privilege of photographing the Tebo family. When I arrived at Fish Park in Poulsbo, Wa., I instantly became excited when I saw the trails and the big wooden fish! After scoping out the area, the family arrived. These three boys have wild and contagious energy. It was easy to feed off their personalities for the photo shoot. I loved seeing the parents embrace their children and fun with the kiddos during the shoot too.
Candid photos are the best when the kids (and parents) are having fun! I made sure to break up traditional posing with “in the moment” shots of the family interacting. Creating memories during a family photography session is important to me, which is why I strive to create a balance between posing and playing.
We were lucky that the sun made an appearance for us during our photo shoot. Everyone had a beautiful glow! I feel so blessed that I was able to capture precious moments for this family.
