My Parents celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary! So, naturally I said they HAVE to do a couples session to document this milestone! 30 years of marriage is such an accomplishment and we all know—hard work too!

Being married to the same person through thick and thin takes commitment. They never gave up and have honored their vows. I must say, I am pretty proud to call them my Mom and Dad.

My mom spent the morning before the photo shoot being pampered and getting all dolled up. She had her hair and makeup done at Seaport Salon and Day Spa in Old Town Silverdale Washington. My parents coordinated their outfits and picked the waterfront for their photography session.

We spent the time celebrating their love for one another. I remember telling my Dad to whisper something in her ear to make her laugh. I don’t think I’ve ever heard my Mom laugh so hard! Now that I’m an adult and married with children, I appreciate all the little things about my parents.

Hi, I’m Ashley and I believe your birth story matters. The day you welcome your baby into the world matters. Documenting your strength and power matters. Birth is a transforming experience that is positively worth capturing!
